SAE AMS3570F – Foam Flexible Polyurethane Open Cell Medium Flexibility (Stabilized: Nov 2011)

This specification covers two types of an open-cell medium-flexibility polyurethane foam in the form of sheet strip and shapes.

These products have been used typically for general interior padding cushioning and vibration insulation but usage is not limited to such applications. Foam furnished to this specification shall be classified as follows: Type I – Polyurethane Foam – Easter and Type II – Polyurethane Foam – Ester. Type II shall be supplied unless Type I is ordered.
